WHAT IS THE LOGOS CORPORATION?



THE LOGOS CORPORATION is most well-known as an urban legend and often amusingly confused with Bloody Mary. Allegedly, if you chant Logos three times in a mirror, an agent will appear behind you to forcibly recruit you. Of course, nothing happens. Partly because that's a ridiculous concept, but also because the Logos Corporation is not real, and if it was - which it isn’t - this would not be how they recruit agents, because agents are unfortunately bound by the laws of physics in the way that most human beings are.



However, some teenagers, desperate to upset and frighten their younger siblings and perhaps their slightly more gullible friends, take another tack. They threaten that there are a network of spies webbed across the whole country and watching your every move. That their very teachers themselves are agents, that their grandparents are agents, that there are agents sewn into the very framework of their society. That the line between where the agents start and the real people begin is becoming increasingly blurred and unclear. This is also laughed off as ridiculous.



However, this legend is the closest to the truth.



The truth is that the Logos Corporation, which is not real, is a global network of information. It hungers for it. A living being in itself structured by layers and layers of levels of agents and supervisors and boards and councils of differing specialties across multiple countries. Whilst it is based primarily in North America, which is where the headquarters is rumored to exist, agents have been recruited from across the globe, leaving dead-end missing children cases in their wake. It controls a multitude of other very powerful companies across the globe, such as the Yellow Pages, and Sony, and CASIO.
